- A. to conduct research in life sciences, environmental and developmental issues including but not limited to
- Earthworms, vermicology and vermitech
- Soil biology and ecology
- Ecology & Environment
- Organic farming
- Food and nutrition
- B. To disseminate knowledge and awareness through workshops, seminars, conferences, training programmes and publications.
- Have been associated with several NGOs, SHGs, Government (DST, TNS&T, Science City, TNSCS&T, TNPCB, etc) and Private Sector as resource.
- C. To work towards improvement of the quality of life of the common man through
- Environmental awareness & education
- Waste management
- Child education
- Social and developmental issues
- Research and any social service activity of lasting benefit to the society
- D. Provide advisory consultancy for any environmental or social projects, including
- Establishing waste management and recycling facilities
- Environmental surveys
- Conducting Environmental Impact Assessment
- Comparative risk assessment
- Environmental resource mapping
